It's all about love.
Love has the power to bring us together.
Officiants generally referred to as "celebrants" are people who officiate marriage and other major life ceremonies for those who do not want a traditional religious ceremony.
Celebrancy is a movement to provide agents to officiate at ceremonies often reserved in law to either the clergy officers or the courts. Today more and more people are opting for a life celebration in non-traditional styles and in non-traditional settings - parks, beaches, lakes, mountains, private homes and venues of all kinds including churches and chapels.
In the United States, Canada and many other countries around the world, officiants and celebrants perform religious or secular celebrancy services for weddings, renewing vows, child namings, coming of age ceremonies, funerals, and other significant rituals which are a valuable part of our lives.
An officiant's main responsibility is to receive and witness the consent of the intended spouses and to ensure the legal formalities, ensuring the validity of the marriage or civil union, are observed.
Officiant's duties and responsibilities, as well as who may be an officiant vary among jurisdictions.
As a recognised Officiant Zelda Sheldon is available not only to legally officiate your ceremony but also to help you make your wedding ceremony truly special.
Zelda will write and personalize your ceremony, helping you create a tone that's a perfect fit for your style and preferences, whatever you want that expresses your unique personality.
Zelda's fee for officiating within Nashville Tennessee is $300 which includes writing and one rehearsal. As an add on service Zelda can help you write your own special vows, and also sing a romantic song performing on ukulele for your ceremony (Hawaiian Wedding Song is a big favourite) or a song of your choice. Zelda is also happy to tailor a lovely simple wedding without rehearsal to fit your budget and welcomes all inquiries. For all other locations outside of Tennessee you are welcome to email your contact details, date and location of your ceremony so you can receive a written quote. Bookings are confirmed with your pre-payment via PayPal.
One thing for sure, if you are wishing for the most beautiful joy-filled ceremony full of warmth, laughter and love that you and your guests will always remember Zelda will help you create that magic moment in time.
